It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts, we inform you that our dear colleague, friend, and sister, Meri Adilagi unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, 10 May. 

Our thoughts are with her family, especially her children and grandchildren, her community, and all who are feeling the weight of this loss. 

Meri was the Project Officer for the Rakiraki Women’s Crisis Centre. 

She first joined as a volunteer in June 2012 and progressed to being a Counsellor Advocate and Community Educator before being appointed Project Officer Rakiraki Women’s Crisis Centre in March last year. 

Words cannot express how we miss you, Meri. Our lives will be empty in the areas you had brightened for us. Thank you for the compassion, laughter, and lessons. 

We thank the Goddess for your life, Meri.
